Pupils got the chance to show off their Jubilee projects in assembly today. With parents invited, pupils from Nursery to Year 6 demonstrated the knowledge they had built up over the last half term in preparation for the Jubilee street party that happened yesterday. Studies across the school had ranged from looking at the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, looking at Britain in the 1950s, looking at how Britian has changed over the last 60 years and taking a look at how Britian in 2012 differs from the last time there was a Diamond Jubilee (that of Queen Victoria in 1897).
Many thanks to those parents that came into school to see what pupils have been doing: it's always great when pupils can share what they have done with others connected with the school community.
