News / International Sports Day

Hampden Gurney celebrated the many cultures that make up our community with an International Sports Day.  Pupils throughout the school took part in activities from around the world such as Capoeira and cheerleading.  Each child represented one of the countries coming to London this summer for the Olympics.  After a fun-packed day of activities, parents were invited to the closing ceremony.  After the ceremony, pupils and parents enjoyed the many international delicacies that had been donated for the event. All in all, it was a wonderful celebration.
